Em particular, o algoritmo far\u00e1 a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos dispositivos de escala utilizados, al\u00e9m da segmenta\u00e7\u00e3o da superf\u00edcie lesional, bem como, a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o quanto ao tipo de les\u00e3o fundamental. Para treinar e validar o desempenho do algoritmo, ser\u00e1 confeccionado um banco de imagens cl\u00ednicas contendo fotografias correspondentes a les\u00f5es erosivas, planas e ulceradas. O algoritmo resultante ser\u00e1 integrado ao SMART MONITORING 2.0 e novo registro ser\u00e1 solicitado junto ao INPI. A expectativa \u00e9 que as novas funcionalidades sirvam como aux\u00edlio confi\u00e1vel no diagn\u00f3stico e monitoramento de les\u00f5es, elevando o padr\u00e3o de cuidados em sa\u00fade. A hip\u00f3tese levantada era que o programa de computador SMART Monitoring seria eficaz na avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de les\u00f5es intra e extraorais por meio de fotografias cl\u00ednicas. Para testar a efetividade do programa, foram realizados testes, com o objetivo principal de calcular a acur\u00e1cia na mensura\u00e7\u00e3o da \u00e1rea lesional. O site foi criado com foco nas melhores pr\u00e1ticas de usabilidade e acessibilidade, garantindo assim que a comunidade cient\u00edfica possa acessar e explorar o conte\u00fado de maneira f\u00e1cil e intuitiva. O projeto foi orientado pelo Prof. Gustavo Davi Rabelo, e contou com a colabora\u00e7\u00e3o dos Professores Ricardo Armini Caldas e Liliane Janete Grando, al\u00e9m dos pesquisadores Guilherme Grando Carqueja e Andr\u00e9 Provensi. O programa foi criado para a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de imagens cl\u00ednicas de les\u00f5es, obtidas por meio de um gabarito ou dispositivo de escala que cont\u00e9m duas dimens\u00f5es perpendiculares conhecidas. A pesquisa foi realizada pela ent\u00e3o estudante de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o Samara da Silva Pinto, orientada pelo Prof. Gustavo Davi Rabelo e coorientada pela p\u00f3s-graduanda Fabiane Smiderle, com colabora\u00e7\u00e3o dos Professores Ricardo Armini Caldas e Liliane Janete Grando. Neste projeto, o objetivo foi avaliar fotografias cl\u00ednicas de exposi\u00e7\u00f5es \u00f3sseas bucais a fim de se obter as dimens\u00f5es das les\u00f5es. Ainda, testar a influ\u00eancia da corre\u00e7\u00e3o da proje\u00e7\u00e3o de perspectiva sobre as mensura\u00e7\u00f5es. Os principais resultados demonstraram que as fotografias cl\u00ednicas podem ser empregadas para calcular as medidas das les\u00f5es de exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00f3ssea em cavidade bucal. O c\u00e1lculo das medidas lesionais pode ser feito com a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de um dispositivo calibrador inserido no momento da fotografia.
